We love to tell you who we are :

Mnemonic Dictionary helps in learning and remembering word and it's meaning easily by providing memory aids (called mnemonics) for each word. Mnemonics connect to-be-remembered meaning of words with a systematic and organized set of images or words that are already firmly established in long-term memory and can therefore serve as reminder cues.

The Mnemonic Dictionary team is based in Hyderabad (India). We are passionate about creating compelling web products in e-learning space.

The Crew

Amit Aggarwal : Hi, This is Amit. I am a tech savvy guy who likes to dig up pleasure from practicing yoga. People tag me as a fanatical movie maniac, but I believe I am a movie enthusiast, and my enthusiasm doesn't end with movies but it goes far and wide and is apparently discernible in the whole lot that I do. It is my enthusiasm that drives me to go on experimenting and doing sundry things all the times. From my engineering days, I always had an ardent desire of doing something in e-learning and web 2.0 space. And mnemonic dictionary was born as a result of my experimentation with learning practices. After graduating from IIT Bombay, I worked for few months in a software firm, but when I realized that good parents spent hour's everyday to bring up a healthy child, I decided to quit my job and work full time on Mnemonic Dictionary. I take care of the technology and operation division.

Preeti Soni : Howdy, I am Preeti. I am young, energetic and a bubbly person and I love myself juz the way I am. I am a voracious reader and enjoy reading almost anything that I come across. I also love writing. My favorite pastime of late has been blogging. You can read through my blog here. Initially I joined Mnemonic Dictionary, for fun and then I got hooked on to it. The project got so interesting and challenging that I decided to be involved full time and I quit my job to work on mnemonic dictionary. Along with our squad of three I am also devoted to raise our babe-in-arms. Being part of this Web 2.0 project has been the best thing that has happened to me. I am in charge of setting up the strategies and their execution for business, marketing and operations.

Himanshu Arora : Hi guys, here is an optimist to the core, and in Tagore's term: I have become my own version of an optimist. If I can't make it through one door, I'll go through another door - or I'll make a door. Something terrific will come no matter how dark the present. People like me for my zany and creative ideas that come out of me day in and day out. And I truly believe that one day out of these trash I will find a gem that will change the world forever. I believe that since 5/7th of my remaining life is gonna be spend on my job, so its better to find something that gives a fire in my belly when I wake up, and a feel of accomplishment at night. Keeping that in mind, I quit my job at Dr.Reddy's Pharmaceutical 8 months after graduating from IIT Bombay and started working on mnemonic dictionary, the brain child of my friend Amit. I take care of business development, strategy building and social media marketing.

Prameela Jeppu : Cheers..!! I am Prameela. I would like to personally describe myself as a funky, charming person who can get a little quirky sometimes. The reason probably is because I was born a little lop-sided..!! My left-brain has I guess always been heavier than my right..!! That was probably one of the reasons why I went on to study Human Psychology. I did my masters in Psychology and have been ever since experimenting with blending my creative side with my understanding of human engineering. I am passionate about of colors; enjoy dabbing on a canvas during my free time, and love playing word games. Mnemonic Dictionary is one place where all my passions could be combined in one single project. I handle and manage the work flow and look and feel of the website.
